Yes we are playing at the North Sea Jazz Festival with A Tribute to Eva Cassidy! We just recorded the Tribute cd but we still had time to record one of my own songs in the wonderful Helmbreker Studio's in Haarlem. It will be on my fourth cd, which I am working on!

Saturday the 13th of July we'll be playing at the North Sea Jazz Festival from 22.00-23.00!! YAY!
We are very excited to launch A Tribute to Eva Cassidy at this beautiful festival. Dan Cassidy will come over from Iceland to play with us.

NEWS: A TRIBUTE TO EVA CASSIDY

A lot of people have been asking me since our performance @Vrije Geluiden (Dutch TV): when will the concerts of A Tribute to Eva Cassidy be?
Well here's the answer: the concerts are planned between February & April 2014. So there's lots of time before we really take off.
(I will put them on my website as soon as they are all confirmed)
BUT..... In July 2013 we will have a grande premiere which I will announce next week, so stay tuuuuuuned!
It has been such a pleasure to make the best out of this project and I am so so happy with my great band: Cord Heineking on the double bass and Arie Storm on the guitar. They're the best. Dan Cassidy will join us in july when we are rehearsing further. I am so excited!
When first hearning Eva, I was so overwhelmed by her beautiful voice and her interpretation of all those beautiful songs. Like so many of us! I want to help to spread the word about Eva and I am enjoying singing all those wonderful songs of all those wonderful songwriters. Who would have thought I might end up doing this Tribute. Now here I am, studying like hell, repeating every phrase after phrase, checking out her timing, her sound, her beautiful delivery of the lyrics. Just like the way she listened over and over to one song.
